i shall imagine life

i shall imagine life
is not worth dying,if
(and when) roses complain
their beauties are in vain

but though mankind persuades
itself that every weed's
a rose,roses(you feel
certain)will only smile

-ee cummings

i have been enchanted lately by the beauty of poetry
by the way the words just fall off the tongue and the page and
then linger in the air for lifetimes at a time
i like that
what i see is different; merely the twisted collage of something you saw
and that what you see is nothing but the blurred mirage of a vision
i maybe had
once upon a time.
